Our Pairs
Mintie & Basil
Mintie & Basil are two rescues that we took in a few years ago from our local café as they thought that they were too noisy. They are both split for Clearwing so their offspring would be useful both as pets and in a rainbow pair as all boys are also split for opaline.
Violet & Bamboo
Violet & Bamboo are a lovely pair while they were both originally bought for different projects they paired up in the aviary and we decided it was best to keep them together as it creates a stronger bond. They produce spangles, opalines, coalboalts and violets.
Thyme & Ginger
Thyme & Ginger are our Clearwing pair, as both carry a copy of the opaline gene and Ginger is split for blue they have a chance of producing rainbow. They are currently sitting on eggs so we should have babies from them soon.
