Our Story

We have been keeping budgies for almost seven years now our first birds were called Unicorn and Camaflage they were both sisters. In 2020 we decided to get them both partners with the idea that we could breed them they were called Blueberry and Smoothy, unfortunately only about a month after we got them Smoothy passed away from a stroke, at this time the aviary had just been built and we were deciding what colour to paint it. We decided, as Smoothy would never get to fly in it, we would paint it the same colour as him. Now if you ever come to visit us you will see our bright blue aviary.At this time our budgies had paired up, and one budgie Unicorn was by her self we got her a partner named Olive. At this point the aviary was ready. Since then we have brought in so many more birds some rescues, some from breeders. Before we breed, each bird is assessed on health, colour and temperament. My personal favourite mutation is violet so my aim is to always have some of those available.
