Budgies & Other Pets

Here at Budgies & Other Pets we have the pleasure of both keeping budgies and breeding them. All our birds live in a heated aviary  with monthly preventative treatments for mites, worms, canker, coccidiosis and trichomonaisis. They are feed a mix of vegetable chop, lentils, rice, sprouts, pellets, nuts and seeds daily along with egg mash once or twice a week.
At the moment we are able to breed a mix of violets, opalines, sky blues, cobalts, greens, yellow faces, spangles and with a few surprise clearwings from are pair Mintie & Basil we are well on our way to breed rainbows. Some other mutations we aim to bring in are TCBs, pieds (both recessive and dominant) and blackwings.
